Greetings Drawers-Life members!
Please be aware that recently art submissions are at an all time high, so please be patient while we try to keep up. If your submission ever expires, please resubmit. For this reason we are looking to add some more staff to our Drawers-Life Group to help with the backlog. We have also, unfortunately, been forced to DECLINE a lot of submissions lately, due to members not following the submission guidelines.
Please take a minute to read this:First~ there is a 2 submission PER MONTH limit.
Here are the 3 most popular reasons for your artwork to be DECLINED:
1~ Bad documentation - meaning it is too dark, bad lighting, notebook holes, not centered, etc... please make sure you are submitting a work that is clean and well lit and one of your best works. If you are not proud of your work, why should we display it in our group?

2~Wrong folder - please scroll down the entire list of subcatagories to make sure you are not just putting your submission in the people folder when it belongs in the fan art folder or the celebrities folder, or full body folder. Please take the time to look through ALL the catagories and your work will go through faster!

3~ Please read ALL the rules under our updated rule list journal! We still DO NOT accept works in progress, sketches, studies or simple line work!! We only display finished pieces of artwork that are complete and well documented. Please keep your practice work in YOUR gallery and you won't be disappointed with a declined artwork.
A special and huge thanks to all of you who continually follow the rules and submit their work correctly. You are the members who make life a lot easier for us. We greatly appreciate it!
Want to be a Senior Staff Member of Drawers-Life Group?? New Contributors needed!
As the group grows, our team of contributors should grow as well If you are interested in becoming a contributor, please read on.
It's not all work and no benefit! Senior members of Drawer's life get some PERKS with their status. We give unlimited submissions to our staff members, whose work goes into our staff art folder! We also do a feature on a staff member each month, so your work gets seen on our group page! We also allow our staff to be included in group decisions and to be a part of almost all group activities, like blogs, contests, and other fun stuff!
To be a Senior Staff member:Contributors first and foremost must be able to log in at LEAST once a Month to vote on submissions, although we encourage you to vote as much as you can. You must keep up to date on the group rules, and be able to respond if you have declined a submission. You also need to keep up on our group monthly newsletters (read it) so we can get your input on group stuff, and planning contests. Contributors that want to be upgraded to Co-founder status can request this after a few months of active participation.
If you cannot commit to these few requirements, DO NOT step up, otherwise you will be demoted to a member if you are not performing well. If you are interested in being a contributor, please note the group or EverIris (click link at bottom of page) with the following information:
Why you think you would make a good contributor

How much time you can devote to Drawer's-Life

Do you have any ideas you'd like to share to improve the group?
Contributors are expected to have good knowledge of traditional art as well as some skill, since you will be voting and judging the work of our members. It is preferred that you have worked in a group before, but NOT required. The following things for the group are in the works right now and we need contributors help with:

New Summer Contest

Monthly Artist Feature

Monthly Drawer's Life Art Blog Articles

Weekly group DD's for most impressive submissions
If you are interested in helping out with any of these projects, please include it in your note!

A big thankyou to all of our talented and loyal members and awesome senior staffers
